In this blog, I will share my thoughts and experiences of being a freemason in Ohio. No conspiracy theories, no divulging of their "secrets" (HINT: they are all incredibly boring and not worth giving any effort) and no more lies. I will just be telling my stories about the great amount of money and effort it takes to be a freemason, and how it all came to an abrupt end based on lies. I will attempt to keep the identities of the individuals hidden, but when I start sharing the recordings from my "trial" (yes, the masons think that they are above everybody else and think that they have a right to judge people), I may not be able to properly edit the recordings to hide the names.
The letter above is just one of many examples of vile behavior from the Ohio masons. Do not be fooled into thinking this was a personal grudge between two men that should have been worked out. All of the bad behavior that I will be sharing is known by the Grand Lodge of Ohio, including the current and past two Grand Masters. There is no denying that they are aware of, and support these vile words. From an organization that pretends to be better than all other men (read their tagline on their website), this should be a huge black eye to the fraternity. Unfortunately, many of them are wearing this as a badge of honor.
Ask yourself... what kind of man uses these words against another man? How desperate was he when he wrote these words? "... is a cancer within Ohio Masonry", "should be dealt with", "I put him in his place", "he is a born loser", "... is a narcissistic sociopath", "He has hurt families and reputations", "he is beyond hope".
Then ask yourself how an organization that claims to be based on "brotherly love" could read these words and allow it to continue. Note that I was still a mason in good standing when this letter was written.
I have much more to share, but this is the easiest for any person who is not knowledgeable about the inner workings of the masons to understand. Whether you are a current mason who is curious about what is going on in Ohio, or a person who is interested in masonry... stay tuned.
I was a freemason in Ohio. Most people get burned out in less time than I was a member. It is a grueling and expensive endeavor to be a freemason who is an active participant. I was always the guy who showed up for everything, supported everybody and worked hard to make the lodge experience better for everybody.
When the wrong person decided I needed to be removed from the organization, none of this mattered. One lie was all it took for him to turn the officers of my district against me. That one lie grew into many lies told by the gullible officers during my "trial". The Grand Lodge of Ohio was an active participant in the lies and made swift work of removing me. I was put on trial with no opportunity for an investigation or discovery. At the trial, things only got worse.
