I want to help others avoid making the same mistake I made when I became a mason. The promises of "brotherly love", "relief" and "truth" are tempting, but they are not real.
My experiences are limited to Ohio. Each state has its own Grand Lodge, and as of the time of me posting this, none of the other states are aware of the behavior of the Ohio Grand Lodge, and they should not be judged. There is a process, however, that allows one Grand Lodge to no longer recognize another Grand Lodge. In my opinion, the way I was treated by Ohio freemasonry is the exact reason for having such an option.
